Troutbeck View Lodge - Limefitt Park - a luxury Troutbeck Lodge

Route: Dubbs Reservoir Circular

This is a moderately challenging walk from Troutbeck Church, through Limefitt Park and up Applethwaite Fell, returning via a quiet road and then a country lane and track to the church. This is a great walk for adventurous kids and combines lovely views of the Troutbeck Valley and the Tongue with quiet country lanes and bridle paths.

Turn right and walk along this fairly level track for 2.5 kilometers. At the start of this section you will get some good views of Windermere. About half way you will pass Dubbs Reservoir on your right. Keep a look out for the swans.
