"Thank you! We have had a fantastic time in your wonderful lodge. it was really great to be your very first guests. The lodge is amazingly well equipped and ever so comfortable. There is so much to see and do in the local area. We had two superb meals at The Mortal Man. The kids had such a great time splashing about in the river pool. The PlayStation was really appreciated on the one very rainy day. It has been a wonderful stay and we are definitely coming back. Best wishes" - July 2010

"We have had a fabulous time here at Troutbeck. The lodge is truly amazing. Comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. So much thought gone into every aspect. Our 2 year old loved it here and he referred to it as "my log cabin". The local area is fantastic with lots to do for everyone. We had a great day at Windermere and Ullswater. We had a good meal at The Mortal Man and we cooked a great lamb roast back at the lodge. Only sorry we didn't have time for a meal at The Queens Head as it looked amazing. We will definitely come here again and recommend you to our friends. A weekend is not enough - next time a week maybe! Thank you" - August 2010
